留学1年生の詩
中学生留学をお世話する醍醐味は彼らの驚くべき精神的、肉体的伸びを実感することにあります。
「どうして、英語が全く話せなかった生徒が1年で生活英語をマスターできるのか、更には、親への感謝など全く感じなかった子どもたちが人間的に著しく成長して、感謝の気持ちを素直に表現できるのか・・・」
10代前半の生徒たちの留学をお世話して、その成果に驚異と喜びを感じられるコンサルタントという仕事は、人の尊厳とその能力を称賛する仕事です。
ほぼ英語力ゼロで渡米して7年生に入学した生徒が書いた詩が、ジュニアボーディングスクールの定期刊行誌の巻頭を飾りました。
詩は言葉のアートです。それを読む人に感動や希望を与えるものです。

Spring is pink
And summer is green
Cherry blossom and tall grass

Fall is red
And winter is white
Changing leaves and falling snow
